About the Long Night of Application
The “Long Night of Application” – abbreviated as LNDB in German – is Austria’s leading job speed dating event, successfully initiated in 2017 by career coach and marketing expert Doria Pfob. This career event brings together renowned companies and motivated applicants from all industries and age groups. The successful format is particularly known for being cutting-edge, saving valuable time and effort for both applicants and recruiters. Here, great companies find great employees – and all in record time.

The Success Story
Since the first event on 20 November 2017, the success story of this standout event has been unfolding: the format is now available in Graz, Vienna, Linz, and Klagenfurt. In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire event was converted into an online format – maintaining its popularity and quality. The online format was so well received that it led to a dedicated online event for IT professionals, which has been consistently fully booked since 2021 and is even advertised internationally.

Added Value for All
Although the focus is on job interviews, the organiser has always been keen to ensure that every attendee gets the most out of the event. This includes specially designed preparation materials (Digital Handbook “How to Pitch”, Preparation Video “Applying Differently”) and a meeting point with sponsors, where attendees can get to know companies even without a scheduled interview. Each event is rounded off with a colourful and diverse supporting program (individual career training, CV checks, Shiatsu corner, beauty corner, pop-up experts, numerous competitions, and goodies).
