Who doesn’t know them – those helpful algorithms working in the background that significantly influence our search behavior. Algorithms are also used in the application process to specifically search for keywords and enable faster selection procedures.
Especially larger companies provide online forms where you should pay attention to which keywords are requested – focus on education, language, etc.? This helps filter out whether an application meets the sought criteria and advances to the next stage.
In general, you should look for keywords in every job posting – what is important to the company? – and fill your resume with these key terms.
But beware – a resume should always be tailored to a specific job posting and not sent out as a mass product 😉.
How to avoid falling victim to the algorithm and increase your chances is explained by Doria in the video 😊.
